DRAX power station has received a gold medal award from the Royal Society For The Prevention Of Accidents.
It is the third time the North Yorkshire power station has received the award, which recognises and celebrates a high standard of safety in the workplace.
Peter Emery, the power station’s production director, said: “This once again highlights the progress both employees and contractors have made in developing and sustaining a safety culture to be proud of.
“It demonstrates that health and safety is an absolute priority at Drax.”
