POLICE in York are renewing their appeal to trace a 23-year-old man missing from home.
Joshua Peter Ffrench was reported missing by a family member on Sunday, May 22, but had not been in contact since 12 days earlier.
Inspector Phil Cain, of the York Safer Neighbourhood Team, said: “I am concerned for Joshua’s welfare as he has not been in contact with family members since he went missing on Tuesday, May 10, and it is not thought that he has essential medication with him.
“I urge Joshua, or anyone who has seen him, to contact me immediately so that I can confirm he is safe and well.
“If you see this appeal Joshua, I would like to reassure you that you are not wanted in connection with any incidents.
“My sole purpose for asking you to contact me is that I am concerned for your welfare.”
Joshua, or anyone who can help to locate him, is asked to phone Insp Cain on 0845 6060247.
Editor’s note: Mr French later returned safe and well.
