SO Ed Miliband is laying out his plans for Labour. We have heard it all before.
It was Labour that created thousands of non-jobs in the public sector and paid them high wages for doing nothing; they made children stop at school longer because it kept down the jobless figures.
Mr Miliband admitted the party did slightly overspend, but this was to the tune of bankrupting the country. Will he cap the benefits for the unemployed? I doubt it as they form a large portion of the Labour votes.
We now come to David Cameron, who has told us all to tighten our belts as we are in a financial crisis only the Coalition can solve. His actions to save money include attacking Libya and spending millions; and sending more billions in aid to countries half of us have never heard of. He also says we will pay the biggest share to help a worldwide immunisation find.
I feel sorry for these people, but I feel a lot sorrier for my own countrymen and women who are denied health care on financial grounds and care homes having to go with a begging bowl.
