A CAMPAIGN to raise £1,300 to provide a funeral for a homeless man who died in East Yorkshire is nearing success.

Goole-based Church charity Mission Trinity wants to give a proper funeral to Vladmirs Kolokolovs, 28, who was found dead in Goole last month.

The group raised £990 in 24 hours and have booked next Friday’s ceremony at Haltemprice crematorium at 2.15pm in the hope they will be able to raise the remaining cash in the meantime.
