JOHN Smith’s Darts League division one table-toppers Mitre had Rich Corner (16), Dave Scaum (180), John Quantock (21), Neil Long (18) and Lutz Leutzsch (16) playing well but lost their unbeaten record.
Acomb did the damage led by Keith Turner (180 and 15) and Paul Dixon (19), who combined to take the decider.
Second-placed Shepherds had Heath Scaife (17), Rich Saville (21) and Tony Cooper (20) excelling, but they lost to Cueball, thanks to Rob Sargent (20), Matt Wilson (20, 21), Craig Wedge (19), Barry Noble (19, 21) and a deciding game win by Wedge and Tony Noble.
Dave Mason (19), Adam Thompson (180), Chris Thompson (180 and 2 x 18) and Martyn Turner (180 for 13 and 17) helped Ainsty to a 10-0 win over Tree.
The top two in division two clashed with Severus’ Alan Woodward and Kev Melody taking the decider to defeat Crescent 6-4.
Ainsty ‘B’ stars Eddie Stewart (16), Chris Kitson (21) and Daz Meek (Bull c/o) secured an 8-2 win over Cross Keys.
Graham Hudson (20) and Mike Holdsworth (22) ensured a 7-3 triumph for Flag over Turf whose Jordan Worobeck (23) played well.
