YORK Civil Service Cricket club are holding free coaching sessions for youngsters starting on Sunday.
There will be four sessions on consecutive Sundays from June 19 to July 10 from 11.30am to 1pm at The Outgang, in Heslington, York, for children aged 11 and under. They will be run by English Cricket Board accredited coaches, who are all CRB checked.
First-team opening batsman Darren Hanley who is leading the sessions, said: “To put something back into the local community and develop a strategy to support the longevity of the club, we are holding free cricket coaching sessions for youngsters.”
