CITY of York Athletics Club star Richard Buck is going for team glory in Stockholm this weekend.
The one-lap specialist has been named in a six-man relay squad for the Spar European Team Championships and will be hoping to play his part in the two-heat final event on Sunday.
He is joined in the Great Britain 4x400 metres relay line-up by Conrad Williams, who is also competing in the individual 400m, Michael Bingham, David Greene, Nick Leavey and Andrew Steele.
Buck is currently ranked 11th fastest in the UK over 400m.
The event gets under way today and the action on both days will be screened on BBC1.
