THE 42,700 children and young people in Yorkshire and the Humber who suffer from bed-wetting are being targeted by a new awareness-raising campaign.
ERIC, a charity dedicated to supporting families with childhood continence problems, is launching the Dry And Mighty campaign to increase awareness of how difficult summer sleepovers can be for young people who wet the bed.
Jenny Perez, ERIC director, said: “We know bed-wetting affects one-in-12 UK children and teenagers every night and that most dread summer sleepovers and holidays as a result.
“The Dry And Mighty campaign will tell children and parents loud and clear that they are not alone. Things can be done to overcome or manage the problem and ERIC can help, with specialist expertise and years of experience.”
