York have taken over at the top of division one of the IT Sports Mixed Doubles Tennis League by a games difference of one after a victory over title holders Dunnington.
Gareth Adams and Louise Marshman proved too strong for Dunnington, with 15-year-old Sasha Taylor also having a good match.
Fulford are only two points behind after their heavy defeat of Rufforth, with juniors Sean Evans and Eleanor Bradshaw scoring well.
Poppleton had a good win against York seconds, with top scorers John Moore and Fiona Gelthart finishing off with a 12-0 triumph.
Division two has new leaders in the form of Dunnington after a close win at York.
Previous leaders Wigginton dropped to third after losing to Fulford, who were inspired by the unbeaten Patrick Atkinson and Elizabeth Mallory.
John Schofield and Sarah Cook led Poppleton into second place as they won at Wheldrake.
Another narrow win by York against Bubwith took them out of the relegation area.
There was no change in division three as Anthony Downing and Natalie Muir ensured Stamford Bridge won at rivals Rowntree Park.
Title-chasing Bishopthorpe lost at Sutton-on-Derwent.
Top scorers of the week were Paul Adams and Francis Mutter, who dropped only three games as David Lloyd won at Stillington in division four. That created a big gap between themselves and second-placed Appleton Roebuck.
York took over third place on games difference after beating Cliffe.
Dunnington are the only team in division five with their 100 per cent record intact after they inclifted a first defeat on Castlegarth. Brad Swainston and Sue Sumner led the way.
Nick Latchman and Louise Haritakis moved Heworth out of the relegation area with a tight win at Cawood.
Division six is splitting into two. David Lloyd are the new leaders after a win against Wigginton, and they are one point ahead of Appleton Roebuck, who beat Tollerton.
Bishopthorpe returned to the top of division seven after they won without dropping a set at Wheldrake. Jonny Kay and Andrene Watson top-scored.
Wistow have climbed up the table with successive wins at New Earswick and Fulford, with Neil Richardson and Allison Beal turning in another good performance.
Riccall lead the chase for silverware in division nine after Patrick Woodward and Rachel Clark scored heavily in a victory over Fulford.
Rufforth, David Lloyd and Cliffe are only two points behind. Cliffe won at Strensall, with half the games won by Oliver Brooke and Viv Williamson.
Only five teams now are unbeaten in the league after division 11 leaders Bubwith lost to second-placed Poppleton, thanks to a 12-0 win by Max and Veronique Knighton.
Bubwith then bounced back with a win against promotion rivals Rufforth, for whom Steve Pinion and Ann Wottge won all three sets.
Bishopthorpe moved up the table with a win against Appleton Roebuck.
Then Kelvin Rider and Krysia Clack won 30 games as Bish beat Cliffe.
