We really are making a pig’s ear trying to win a war in Libya from the air.
We went in to create a no-fly zone and to protect the civilians from harm, this was legalised by the UN.
Bombing Tripoli, with a population of 1.6 million, was inviting loss of life among the very people we are there to protect.
Why are not the rest of the NATO members taking part? Are we the only country with a conscience? I think not. We have bitten off more than we can chew/ afford.
