I WOULD like to express my view on the article “Horse images picked for top show” (The Press, June 16).
Having two horses myself I have followed the progress of Faith Cook after this horrific fall, thankfully I have heard that she will make a full recovery.
Personally, I don’t feel that this is an award-winning sequence of pictures, but an horrific fall in which both horse and rider were lucky to have survived.
Nobody in the horse world likes to see these sort of images.
Whereas the image of Lydia’s Look taking to the pool at Tim Etherington’s yard at Malton is so much more appreciated.
