MANY folk in York believe that the new leader of the council, James Alexander, hopes, as soon as possible, to use his position to become an MP – preferably in a London seat.
Many also think that Dr John Sentamu would much prefer to be in Canterbury and live in Lambeth Palace. He certainly spends a lot of time in London. He was recently treated for appendicitis in a London hospital. Wasn’t NHS care at the York Hospital good enough for him?
