WHAT’S next? Your correspondent A Bainbridge has the gall to suggest that farmers and their tractors use the A64 at certain times of the day just to suit the likes of him.

I was always led to believe that patience was one of life’s virtues. It seems to me that A Bainbridge, like many others, wasn’t gifted with it.

There has always been a gripe by some motorists using the A64. The main one used to be cars towing caravans, or drivers observing speed limits, therefore impeding hare-brained tearaways.

However, as hard working farmers seem to get the blame for most things. I hope they don’t lose much sleep over impatient motorists who should be displaying a message on their windscreens Move Over, It’s Me.
