REGULARS at a York pub will scale the heights to raise money for Help for Heroes.
The team of 15 from the Beeswing pub in Hull Road, York, will undertake Yorkshire’s Three Peaks Challenge, climbing Pen-y-ghent, Whernside and Ingleborough on Saturday.
Pete Challis, assistant manager of the pub, said they hope to complete the challenge in less than 12 hours.
“We’re hoping to raise £1,500 to £2,000 for Help for Heroes, which we chose as it’s a worthy cause.”
Donations can be made at the Beeswing pub or at helpforheroes.org.uk/sponsorship, quoting reference number 30110420-5425-3698.
