The hard work of organisers at two big Selby area events was rewarded with fine and sunny weather.
Visitors enjoyed a host of attractions at Carlton Feast and Riccall Carnival.
Event organisers hailed the three-day long carnival, held in the Regen Centre, a huge success. It began with a music event on Friday night, with the carnival action continuing on Saturday with a barbecue, stalls, and disco.
And there was plenty of fun to be had at Carlton Feast, where Megan Craig was crowned queen. There were also bingo sessions, tombola, face-painting, stalls, music and a tug-of-war contest, followed by a barbecue.
