HUNDREDS of people enjoyed a celebration of community spirit at one of York’s most popular annual summer fairs.
Local residents and visitors gathered together at West Bank Park, in Holgate, yesterday, where the family fun included a bouncy castle, climbing wall, various stalls and live music.
Families were also entertained with a falconry display and a dog show.
Jenny Cains, a City of York Council ranger, said: “This is a great demonstration of what a traditional summer fair is all about.”
