POLICE investigating a burglary at a house in East Yorkshire have released an image of a man they would like to question.
The burglar forced his way into the property in Eastgate North, Driffield, near the town’s Remembrance Gardens, at about 8.15pm last Thursday, while a 53-year-old woman was in the house.
The woman was disturbed by a noise and found the intruder coming down the stairs.
He left the house empty-handed and the woman was not harmed.
Detectives have carried out house-to-house inquiries and studied CCTV from the area and have now created this image of a man they want to speak to.
Anybody who recognises him or has information about the burglary should phone Humberside Police on 0845 6060 222 or Crimestoppers on 0800 555111.
