I AM a former York pupil now living in New Orelans who is interested in hearing from acquaintances and one-time pupils of Glen School and Burnholme School, and in particular Brian Walker, Josey Singleton, David Winn and Margaret Simpson.
The teachers I remember at Glen School from 1941 to 1946 are Mr Hodgson, Miss Gibbs, Miss Mumford, and Mr Baxter, the head master.
The teachers I remember at Burnholme School from 1946 to 1951 are Mr Pinder, Mr Footit, Mr Robinson, Miss Braithwaite and Mr Moore, the head master.
