A MAN from Harrogate has been jailed for two years for possessing indecent images and videos of children.
Ian Stuart Little, 38, of King Edwards Drive, pleaded guilty to 28 charges of possessing and making indecent photographs and videos of children and one of attempting to facilitate the commission of a sexual offence.
A computer consultant doing maintenance work on the PC uncovered the images and alerted the police.
Simon Ostler, prosecuting, told York Crown Court there were 408 photographs on the PC and 123 videos, and Little had supplied some of the images to other people.
Little was also put on the sexual offenders’ register for ten years and made subject to a sexual offences prevention order for ten years.
For Little, Philip Morris said he had lived an “isolated” life since he received a brain injury when he was 14. As a result, he was immature, vulnerable and emotionally impressionable. He spent “hour after hour” on the internet. He had not supplied the images for profit.
