I AM writing this letter regarding Dawn Liddell’s death.
Firstly, I would like to thank all the people who were involved with Dawn when she died. I would like to thank the church for a lovely reading about Dawn’s life and the people who attended her service, donating more than £1,000 for Martin House Hospice, and the funeral directors who were very good to Dawn and looked after her very well.
Dawn did not receive the right care at York Hospital, which they admitted.
I would like to thank The Press for helping out in printing Dawn’s story and I would also like to thank my youngest son for taking up the challenge of looking after Dawn’s son.
The only good thing to come out of all this is that Jordan will be able to go to drama school, which is something he has always wanted. The money received in damages will pay for the three-year course.
I would also like to express my thanks to the legal team for all their help in fighting Dawn’s case.
Mrs B Liddell, Fenwick Street, Bishopthorpe Road, York.
