YORK Cats Protection Centre is celebrating its tenth anniversary with an open day tomorrow.
The centre – and the cats – will play host to a tombola, fete stalls and produce tables.
Organisers hope to raise funds and the profile of the charity.
Last year the event raised more than £2,000.
However, centre manager James Hodgkison said this money covered only a fraction of their costs, and therefore a good attendance was essential. The centre is based at 582 Huntington Road, York.
Parking is available nearby and the event will run from 1pm to 4pm.
