NICE things do come from you printing our letters.
Last week a woman inquired about some special knitting patterns. I phoned your office and had a conversation with your features editor and he sent the woman a message. I was then able to post her the pattern, so good work all round.
On June 21 you carried a picture of Ron Martindale still delivering The Press at the age of 75. I say well done and I wish him well.
Here in Bridlington, a man called Ged, well past 75, delivers our Press. When we had the very bad snow and ice he came by foot taking one step forward and three back, and apologising for The Press being late.
He has never let us down over the years of delivery the papers. Most days he is on his bike. I know we live in Bridlington, but he does deliver The Press, so I think he deserves a mention.
He works for a paper shop at South Marine Drive, just across from Bridlington Spa.
Mrs Joan Long, Kingfisher Drive, Bridlington.
