A 14-year-old Selby High School pupil was airlifted to hospital after an accident on a school trip in Dorset.
The boy turned out not to be badly injured after he slipped while using a trapeze high wire at an outdoor activities trip last Tuesday.
A spokesman for North Yorkshire County Council said the boy slipped a metre or two and fell on to the ground, and was sent to hospital as a precaution. He was taken by helicopter as they were in a remote area.
He said the boy stayed for the rest of the school trip, which was agreed by his family.
