CHILDREN and staff dressed up in fancy dress for a fun run which rounded up a week of sporting activities at Derwent School, in Osbaldwick.
The school had various sporting activities going on during the week, including a sports afternoon with parents, obstacle races and bean bag throwing, before a fun run for which they dressed as their favourite sporting heroes, as well as fairytale characters and superheroes.
Head teacher Carole Torode, who dressed as Superwoman, said the whole week, organised by year six teacher and sports co-ordinator, Peter Carpenter, had been a great success.
Carole said: “It was just a fabulous week.”
