HAVING lived during a time when jobs were hard to find, I am always interested in reading job vacancy notices.
In The Press, June 22, there was an advertisement for what was described as a learning resource manager for York school, Joseph Rowntree.
As we had no such person employed as a learning resource manager during all my years at school, from 1918 to 1928 at Tadcaster, were we behind the times?
Were we pupils the losers?
So, could someone please explain what will be the day-to-day duties of the successful candidate for the job as advertised for the Joseph Rowntree School.
Ida Mary Goodrick, Woodlands Avenue, Tadcaster.
