STAFF at a York-based hotel group got on their bikes as part of a nationwide charity campaign.
They team, who were raising money for Hospitality Action, the industry charity, yesterday cycled between four Best Western hotels in North Yorkshire.
The ride started at the Best Western Monkbar hotel in York.
Riders then travelled to the Best Western Cedar Court in Harrogate, the Best Western Dower House in Knaresborough, the Best Western Crown Hotel in Boroughbridge, before finishing at the company’s central office in Amy Johnson Way, York.
Keith Pope, director of Best Western, said: “Nine of our staff here at central office took part and we are very proud of them.”
Astrid Wears-Taylor, of Hospitality Action, said: “We are delighted that Best Western participated in our inaugural Cyclathon, It’s fantastic we have the support of the hotel group and its employees”.
