NEWCOMER John Worrall was the first Thirsk & Sowerby Harriers runner home in the final fixture of the Harrogate League Series, hosted by Wetherby Runners at Sicklinghall.
A total of 31 Harriers members were among the 282 finishers and Worrall was 41st in 29 minutes 29 seconds.
Stephan Tomaszewski was 46th in 29-48.
Paul Atkinson came 55th in 30-35, with Rob Burn 64th in 31-08, followed by Brett Edgeworth, who was 66th in 31-20.
Graham Robinson, an ever-present enjoying a superb season, finished 90th in 32-41, and Phil Utley was 91st in 32-49.
Lorraine Hiles had a photo-finish with David Shorrocks, just pipping him to come 123rd in 34-47 with Shorrocks 124th in 34-48.
Club members will be turning out at the annual Handicap at Ripon on July 14.
Fell runner Hester Cox finished 26th in 58-24 at the Maybeck Three Crosses Race, number six in the summer series.
