A FAMILY pet is thought to have been stolen after CCTV footage captured a man leading a dog away from a York village.
Maisy, a golden Cocker Spaniel, has been missing since July 5. The footage shows a man arriving in Naburn on a bike and then leaving 30 minutes later with a dog matching Maisy’s description.
Her owners believe she was taken from their garden and they have warned that Maisy has a serious stomach problem which means that if she eats high-fat food she can become ill.
Maisy has a scar on her stomach as a result of her condition.
The owners are offering a reward of £500 for her safe return.
Anyone who has information about Maisy’s disappearance should phone 01904 642205 or 07970 097512. To talk to someone anonymously, phone Dog Lost on 08448 003220 quoting 31041.
