WORKERS at a York pet store got on their bikes to raise money for charity.
Staff at Clifton Moor Pets At Home carry out monthly events including cake stalls and raffles, to help abandoned and abused animals.
Workers cycled from Clifton Moor to Selby, travelling 36 miles in total and collecting £350 for organisations such as the Dogs Trust and Cat Protection.
The sponsored cycle did not go without a hitch, though, as one of the fundraisers got a puncture near Selby and had to run over a mile to get it fixed.
