THREE teenagers have been charged in connection with a knifepoint robbery in York.
An 18-year-old man and two boys aged 16 will appear at York Magistrates’ Court on August 3 following the attack in the Bootham area of the city in the early hours of June 1.
A local 23-year-old man was robbed near the junction with Grosvenor Terrace at about 2.20am.
The three males allegedly threatened the victim and demanded his wallet before leaving with the victim’s bank card.
The victim was unharmed but was left very shaken by the incident.
