A CENTRAL York bar is due to reopen tonight, with one lucky visitor winning a real diamond.
The Slug & Lettuce, in Low Ousegate, has undergone a huge refurbishment, which includes an all-new bar and décor, and an additional 50 seats.
All are welcome, but only customers with a VIP ticket have the chance to win the diamond. To book a VIP place, email ria.brooks@stonegatepubs.com
The bar will also host a family fun day on Sunday, July 24, from midday, with face-painting, a magician, and free food for children.
