THEY are at it again. The fools we voted in. This time it’s a plan to put lines and waiting times on cars on Badger Hill.
Well, the residents of Badger Hill didn’t create this problem, the council did. The university has acres of land, but the council won’t allow any of it to be used for parking. Why? Because the council doesn’t acknowledge that cars exist.
The solution to all the problems of parking can be solved by our council allowing the university to increase its parking. Try putting another of couple of levels on the car parks that already exist and extend and at least double the parking areas on the new campus.
This problem won’t go away with wishy-washy lines and times – again I go back to common sense. Meet this problem and solve it sensibly. For goodness sake use your loaf, as my dad used to say.
