Bishopthorpe overcame Osbaldwick by 32 runs in zone ‘A’ of the Hirepoint Plant & Tool Hire U15 league.
The Bishopthorpe total of 100-6 was built around an unbeaten 40 not out from James Mackie.
Osbaldwick could only muster 68 all out in reply, with C Thompson (2-6) and Mackie (4-5) starring with the ball.
Woodhouse Grange strolled to a comfortable ten-wicket victory over Yapham.
Yapham were skittled out for just 41 with George Allport (3-1) and Ben Burderr (3-9) the destroyers-in-chief.
Grange lost just one wicket in their reply led by Ryan Lockwood top-scoring with 23.
In zone ‘B’, an unbeaten half-century from York ‘A’ ace Ryan Waite helped his side to defeat Heworth by 51 runs.
Waite’s 50 not out, supported by Sam Beale’s 30, saw his side to 140-5. Heworth’s reply was a modest 89-6 as Andrew Brewster (2-13) kept them in check.
