Tracy Simpson Laing may be disturbed by my comments on pepper potting of social housing and its affect on values of market housing, but the facts are the facts.
I did not say I agreed with them and did say they were not PC, but they are a reality regardless of what she says, and the proof of the pudding is in the fact very few houses are being built, partly caused by an unrealistic approach to affordable housing promoted by the likes of Ms T Simpson Laing and other York politicians.
It’s time we stopped nitpicking and sorted this out, or there will be a great many more people without jobs chasing even fewer affordable houses.
The one thing Labour’s policy ensures is a guaranteed steadily growing number of people who will qualify for affordable homes due to being jobless.
