A MEMORIAL golf day is being held in memory of popular Tadcaster sports fanatic Clive Gott.
The event on August 10 at Kirbymoorside Golf Club, Manor Vale, will raise money for the Clive Gott Foundation, which has been set up to support youngsters in sport.
Teams of four will take part in a Texas Scramble-style tournament, 10am to 4pm, for £100 per team, including bacon sandwich and coffee on arrival.
Visit facebook.com/event or contact Dave Sear at Flat 11 McMillan House, 60 York Road, Acomb, York YO24 4NW or on 07557 302227 for further information. Clive, who was known for his adventurous challenges and his work in inspiring young people, died in February, aged 52, of suspected heart problems.
