POLICE in East Yorkshire have appealed for witnesses to a serious crash in Sancton, which resulted in three people being treated in hospital.
The crash, involving a blue Ford Fiesta, which was travelling towards Market Weighton, and a red Rover 45 heading in the opposite direction, happened at about 8.30pm on Saturday, July 23 outside Houghton Hall.
A spokesman for Humberside Police said the 20-year-old woman who was driving the Ford Fiesta sustained minor leg injuries and received treatment.
The 50-year-old man driving the Rover was taken to Hull Royal Infirmary suffering from severe chest pain and breathing problems, and was later transferred to Castle Hill Hospital.
Police said his injuries were not believed to be life-threatening.
A man who was travelling as a passenger in the Rover sustained minor injuries was also taken to Hull Royal Infirmary for treatment.
