ANGLERS in East Yorkshire now have 40 new fishing platforms to use along Beverley Beck.
East Riding of Yorkshire Council has also opened a heritage walk along the banks of the former working waterway.
Coun Jane Evisoa, the council’s head of rural issues and cultural services, said: “The new fishing platforms enable anglers of all ages to enjoy their sport safely and comfortably in a unique setting.
Together, the Heritage Walk and platforms are a great addition to Beverley’s cultural offer, giving residents and visitors more reasons to spend time in the area.”
