A FEMALE murderer will be released from a York prison this week.
Tracie Andrews was sent to prison in 1997 for the murder of her fiancé, Lee Harvey, following an argument while travelling on a country road.
Andrews cut his throat and stabbed him 37 times in the back, face, neck and chest with a penknife, before she made up a story about a road rage attack.
Andrews has spent the last part of her 14-year sentence at Askham Grange open prison, where she has been allowed to visit The Church Of Our Lady, in Acomb, York.
It is believed she has undergone surgery to alter her appearance, and will stay in a secure accommodation after she leaves prison.
