THE family of Richard Horrocks a barman who died despite attempts to save him from the River Ouse, have asked friends attending his funeral to bring mementos and photographs.
Richard, 21, died on Sunday after having a few drinks with friends following a shift at Revolution, off Coney Street, and jumping into the river.
His funeral will be held at All Saints’ Church, Northallerton on Monday, at 9.30am.
Richard, known as “Tosh”, lived in Stanley Street, off Haxby Road, York. He leaves his father David, mother Vicki, and a brother.
The funeral will be followed by cremation at St Bede’s Chapel, Teesside Crematorium, at 11am.
Friends are asked to make any donations to The Stroke Association or Macmillan Cancer Care.
