FOUR Yorkshire MPs could find their seats in the House of Commons abolished under a redrawing of the UK’s political map.
The results of a parliamentary constituency boundary review are set to be published with the aim of reducing the number of MPs from 650 to 600, with only 25 constituencies at most expected to remain the same as they were at last year’s General Election.
Under the formula being used, Yorkshire and the Humber would lose four seats, although the impact on constituencies in North Yorkshire is expected to be minimal because they were redrawn ahead of the last election.
