SHERIFF Hutton Bridge won the Quality Solicitors Burn & Company Under- 11s League (HB) after their game against Londesborough Park fell victim to the weather.
Acomb took the runners-up spot on 21 points, with York third and Londesborough Park fourth.
Londesborough Park did, however, have more luck with the weather in their semi-final of the Quality Solicitors Burn & Company U11s cup (HB) against Acomb.
Batting first, they closed at 92-6 with Rory Stephenson making 32 not out and T Hudson 23.
In reply, Acomb fell short, ending on 70 all out.
The final will be between Londesborough Park and league winners Sheriff Hutton Bridge.
Zone ‘B’ winners Heworth beat Zone ‘A’ runners-up Bishopthorpe in a close game to claim a place in the Quality Solicitors Burn & Company U11s (IB) Championship final.
Batting first, Bishopthorpe’s Paddy Burtenshaw top-scored with 15 with Tom Brown making nine.
They were pegged back by some economical bowling with Paddy Mulvey (1-1), Matthew Anderson (1-2), Dan Davison (1-4), Fergus Mcaughtrie (1-5) and Tommy Pearson (1-7) all impressing.
In reply, Luke Huffer and Ryan Whitley both scored 11 and Edward Rymer nine.
Pick of the Bishopthorpe bowlers was Chris Lyndon-Belt with 3-8, while Tom Brown took 2-11, and Connor McGahan claimed 1-7.
