A YEAR’S supply of free Yorkshire Tea is up for grabs for any York residents named Ern.
The offer is to celebrate the homecoming of Little Urn, a travelling tea-mobile which has been on hand in America to give travelling Brits a taste of home.
York residents with any derivation of the name Ern can introduce themselves to the Yorkshire Tea team behind the wheel of the Little Urn between 10am and 3pm tomorrow. The tea-mobile will be outside Tesco at Clifton Moor.
Yorkshire Tea spokesperson John Hennigan, who will be manning Little Urn in York, said: “If you share the same name as our much-loved Little Urn, we’d love to give you a free whole year’s supply of Yorkshire Tea. Simply bring along some proof of your name such as a passport or driving licence to qualify.”
Little Urn is en route to Taylors of Harrogate, the home of Yorkshire Tea, having stopped already at Brighton, London, Bristol, Birmingham and Manchester. He arrives back home on Monday – Yorkshire Day.
