THREE roads in an East Yorkshire town are to be closed to traffic next month for repairs.
Vehicles will be unable to use Regent Street and New Street, in Pocklington, from Wednesday due to a carriageway project which should be completed within two days.
A diversion will run along Percy Road, London Street, Bridge Street, Chapmangate, George Street, Grape Lane, Station Road and The Balk.
A road closure in Union Street will also start on August 17 for resurfacing work, with motorists being diverted along Market Street and Bridge Street.
Emergency vehicles will also be prevented from using the route during this closure, which is expected to be in force for one day, but pedestrian access will be maintained.
