THE killing of 76 people by the Norwegian Breivik was an appalling tragedy and most probably the actions of a madman.
But although I utterly condemn such mindless violence, I and thousands of others will understand where Breivik was coming from, and the warning he was trying to give. The leaders of most western nations have been ignoring the views of millions of their white and Christian populations.
The preferences, appeasement and attention and sympathies offered to Muslims, followers of Islam, and Asians and Africans has been so pronounced for decades that there is a time bomb out there, just waiting to explode. For many years national governments have thought of the far right as a dog that barks but never bites, and that most anti-terrorism efforts should be concentrated on the Jihadists and Islamic fundamentalists. That view needs to alter. It is not only the white working class of Europe who are seething with rage; they now have support from all strata of society – beware.
