RESIDENTS in the Selby area have been urged to report any suspicious vehicles and behaviour.
North Yorkshire Police have asked the public to remain vigilant after people in a white van were seen acting suspiciously near a work yard in Little Smeaton.
An alert was sent out by police on Friday, which warned of a white Ford Transit van, registration W497NDF, which had been seen near a yard full of equipment.
Police said the occupants had been seen ducking under a hedge to get a better look at the yard, and urged residents to remain vigilant.
