LIVE music, food, a big top circus and Chinese dragons were only a few of the attractions that turned Manor CE School into a wonderland.
All the pupils’ hard work for the year paid off when they were given a festival-style party, where the theme was living life to the full – which is also the school’s motto.
The party, which happens every year, with a different motif, saw children come into the school dressed up as clowns and animals to celebrate the end of term in style.
Acts such as jugglers and bamboo-structure artists provided entertainment, and taught the children the creative side of learning.
Mike Bindon, performing arts teacher, said: “The school has been buzzing all week, they kids really threw themselves into it. The head teacher just wanted it to be a messy week full of fun, and we really got the job done.”
