STUDENTS at a school in York enjoyed a real end of term treat when musicians gave them an afternoon of music and merriment.
After being contacted by the school, staff and students from the Jam Factory recording studios in York, performed a mini festival for the pupils of Applefields School in Bad Bargain Lane.
Performers covered new songs and classics and the outside show went down a storm with the students, who all have special educational needs.
Kate Bowater, of the Jam Factory, said: “It was a lovely afternoon with a brilliant vibe. The pupils were ace.”
Teacher Tom Haigh said: “The kids loved it; it was a first time thing that we will definitely continue.”
As well as the music, food and drink were provided for the students, as well as a bouncy castle.
