In a rearranged fixture, Adam and Chris Thompson (both 15, 17) helped Ainsty to a 7-3 win at Cueball.
Kris Outerson was the home side’s top performer with two 21-dart checkouts. And in their second match of the week, Dave Mason and Martyn Turner led the way with 17-dart finishes as they overcame Acomb 8-2.
Cueball registered a 7-3 win over the Green Tree despite a Paul Wilson 111 checkout for the losing side.
Severus stayed top of division two with a 9-1 win over Derwent. Their lead was cut by one leg by Crescent, who closed the gap between the top two with a 10-0 whitewash of Turf.
