LAWYERS from legal firm Dickinson Dees are skydiving to raise money for the Great North Air Ambulance Service, the firm’s chosen Charity of the Year.
Carly Jackson, Charlotte Smith, Mark Ashton, Jackie Gray, Helen Roberts, Aidan Thomas, Adam Wilkinson, Sam Dixon, Claire Pringle and Rob Twohy, from the firm’s York office, will do the jump on September 4 at Hibaldstow Airfield, in Lincolnshire.
Carly Jackson, a trainee solicitor and one of the main organisers of the event, said: “Like some of the best ideas, this one was conceived in the pub. We are aiming to raise more than £2,000 for a tremendous cause.
“We have each set ourselves a minimum fundraising target of £200 and all the money will go directly to Great North Air Ambulance, as Dickinson Dees are funding the sky dive.”
