Children have been making fresh jam from fruit they hand picked as part of summer holiday activities being held at Tadcaster Grammar School.
The jam session, which ran this week, was included in a four-day course of cooking lessons for children over eight.
Children got the chance to visit fresh produce farms and see how their ingredients were produced, before returning to the classroom to learn how to cook some of their favourite snacks including chicken pies, cheese straws and pizzas.
